"Missouri Court - pretty much a dump"

Missouri Court in Liberty is a small road running parallel to Rt. 291. It consists of: a very small garden store, a self-service car wash, and Jefferson Park Apartments, which is rather run down. Half of the road is not properly paved; it's just an oil/gravel mixture, and it has no yellow line. The road ends at a cul de sac in front of the apartments, and it's only redeeming quality is this: at the end of the cul de sac is a small trail that is park of the Lewis and Clark Trail. This part of the trail is perhaps 1/4 of a mile long, and has a small stream on either side of it. It would be a very nice walking trail, but unfortunately there is a fair amount of litter lying around, taking away from the scenery. Behind the apartment complex is a train track. Between the trains (which run maybe twice an hour) and the traffic from Rt. 291, it's somewhat noisy. The only other positive thing I can say is that Liberty is a nice town, and living off of Missouri Court is a cheap way to enjoy the amenities that Liberty offers. But this is one of the worst roads in the town of Liberty.

"Great rural living"

Johnny Bee Rd...the name might make you imagine a quiet, country lane, and you'd be right on. Traffic is minimal. Homes are well cared for and spread out. There are a few horse farms, and several areas where there are just trees. There are lots of deer and even an occasional bear. Dingmans Falls Park is on this street. This is the perfect street to let little ones ride their bikes all day in the summer. There are several parks in the area. Be aware that in the winter, it takes a while for the township to get this road plowed - count on staying at home or at least getting to work late. The school district, Delaware Valley, is excellent. 35-40 minutes to the community college in Newton, NJ, and less than an hour to Stroudsburg University. Amenites - none to speak of. Neighboring Milford has a handful of nice restaurants and boutiques, as well as a grocery store. About 30 minutes away in Westfall is KMart, Super WalMart, another grocery store, some more restaurants. The nearest malls are close to an hour away; NYC and Philly >2 hours away.

"Very dirty"

My biggest complaint about Jersey Street is the litter. The people who live here are slobs; the porches, sidewalks, and streets are filled with trash. Many people in Trenton will not keep the front of their homes too nice, so as not to invite theft, but a decent neighborhood will at least keep things clean. The police patrol Jersey St. frequently; there is almost always a police car parked (with a police officer in it) at the corner of Jersey and Tremont. Even so, it is loud and the second half of Jersey St. has some serious crime problems. The first half (the half attached to Lalor St.) is not quite as bad. There are a number of state offices in this area and it is interesting to go to a corner restaurant and see the mix of business professionals with the locals. Food here is good - many corner restaurants serve good food, and Chambersburg, known for relatively fine dining at decent prices, is just a mile away. DeVito's, on the corner of Tremont and Beatty, is good for lunch...Melaga on the corner of Lalor and Jersey has terrific Mexican cuisine (and sometimes dancing) for a nice dinner. Public transportation is good; there are cabs and buses, and the train station is less than 2 miles away. The Trenton schools are awful. This is by far not the worst area of Trenton, but it's not good, either.

"Clean and peaceful"

Sharon Road feels a bit apart from the rest of Robbinsville/Washington Twp. The rest of the town is booming with new construction and new businesses, but here it is quiet and peaceful. The homes are spread apart. Traffic is overall pretty quiet. The speed limit is 35 mph and the police regularly sit and clock drivers so don't speed! There is a bit of airplane noise on weekends from the little airport on Sharon Rd, but it is not bothersome. The elementary school is on this road; the junior and high schools are not far. The schools are reputed to be very good. It is within a few miles of 3 entrances to I-195, with easy access to the Turnpike/I-95. Princeton is about 15-20 minutes away, Jersey Shore 35+ minutes away (depending on which beach you're going to), Philly about an hour away. There is no public transport on this road; there are bus stops in nearby Foxmoor and on Rt. 130. You can catch a train in Hamilton, Princeton, or Trenton. Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in Hamilton is very good, about 7 minutes away. Shopping is very good; Hamilton and Princeton have tons of options and the new Washington Towne Square, currently under construction, is supposed to have some nice boutiques in it once it is open. There is a small park on Gordon Rd, right off of Sharon Rd., for children. The cost of living (houses, condos, and apartments) is standard for the area. It is very clean here. A nice place to live.
