"Great rural living"
Johnny Bee Rd...the name might make you imagine a quiet, country lane, and you'd be right on. Traffic is minimal. Homes are well cared for and spread out. There are a few horse farms, and several areas where there are just trees. There are lots of deer and even an occasional bear. Dingmans Falls Park is on this street. This is the perfect street to let little ones ride their bikes all day in the summer. There are several parks in the area. Be aware that in the winter, it takes a while for the township to get this road plowed - count on staying at home or at least getting to work late. The school district, Delaware Valley, is excellent. 35-40 minutes to the community college in Newton, NJ, and less than an hour to Stroudsburg University. Amenites - none to speak of. Neighboring Milford has a handful of nice restaurants and boutiques, as well as a grocery store. About 30 minutes away in Westfall is KMart, Super WalMart, another grocery store, some more restaurants. The nearest malls are close to an hour away; NYC and Philly >2 hours away.
