"This will take you to the most fun mall in the city!!"

This hwy will take you to the most fun mall in the city. It has bumper cars, miniature golf course and so much more. It is like being at a amusement park all in one. It has stores, lots of eating places and the road near there comes to be a hang out for kids. It is a safe area some and fun. Going there will take you back to being a kid once you arrive to the place of your chose once of the hwy.

"Great area to live..."

Homes are nice and so beautiful as well. Nice family area to raise the kids and schools are great in the area as well. It is residential but yet it has some parks and local eating places as well. Good inner city to live and raise the family. Parks are nice and folks there are nice to. Lots of areas to cover and yet feel as if not a enough time in a day. LOL!

"East Cactus Road my thoughts...."

Busy, fun and scenery is wonderful in this area. Lots of dessert landscaping and it takes you i believe up to Pinicale Peak or one of those. Been a long time since i lived there. I remember allot of it though as the people and schools were pretty good. At times busy during rush hours but other than that it is a pretty normal road and lots of places to go and transportation is good.

"East Pardise Drive"

Near freeways, stores, malls and local businesses. People are pretty nice and it will also take you to where you need to most of the time. It is a busy street but lovely area id have to add. Living in Phoenix was fun but at times you feel like you were on a race track. It is very hectic but yet has its charms.

"Turf Paradise Road"

The area is nice and there is a wonderful horse track down in this area as well. Malls, eating places and takes you to the freeway to make access anywhere else in the city if so desired. I would of have liked living in the area but we lived more in Scottsdale growing up. I enjoyed going down this street and visiting areas that were very nice.

"Van Buren hmmm..."

Van Buren is an area with the dog track as well as many bars in the area. The area is not safe at all due to high crime and prostitution that i remember when visiting the area with my parents growing up. My parents use to go to the dog track all the time so now and then id go. The area id stay close to those i knew such as the security guards i knew as well.

"Bell Road OH BOY LOL!"

Bell Road i have to say is a busy street and it takes you to areas of middle class and many shops to. This road is a good road to travel on when needing to go a restaurant or if you live on the street the area is not bad. Though id be careful during certain hours of the day due to heavy traffic on this road since it does come off the freeway if not mistaken.Check it out when going there and see for yourself.

"Traveling down Scottsdale Road"

This street takes your breath away i have to say. There are your very rich and beautiful neighborhoods to fine parks and nightlife. Homes are rich with character there and people are really nice. It is a great place to live with kids and families. The road is pretty safe and kept up as well. Viewing of the mountains around is a joy and so wonderful. I loved living there during my teen years but as i got older i started to appreciate more of my surroundings and the folks there.

"This road will take you most anywhere!"

Camelback Road is a busy street. Some residential and good schools. There are plenty of shops and malls on this street. As well as many night life places and eating restaurants to pick from. It is a very rich area in some parts and middle class in some. This road will take you close to downtown from what i remember and is a pretty well built and lite street in the evenings.

I lived near McDowell Road for a few years during my college days. I went to one of the community colleges in Mesa. The road is busy and not really quiet id have to say from what i remember. It was a good place to find places to eat, hanging out and going to schools in the areas. You will also find a mall on the street and plenty of retail stores.

"57th Street,Quiet and peaceful and good folks."

Generally on this street it will take you off the beaten path. This is a nice quiet and good people neighborhood. People are nice and some well to be desired in people skills lol. This street runs in a zig zag in away. It cuts off on New York Avenue and goes to Hickman road then you have to go around to a few other streets to get to the other side of 57th. Homes are nice and people are great. There are schools in the area and good ones, kids allot of them if you have a family this is the place to raise kids here in Des Moines. I am from the Midwest but did live in the Southwest for 26yrs to say. I love being back here as this is the place i wanted to raise my kids. It is friendly and not allot of noise down this street at all.

Bus for kids to school and local bakery near by us as well as parks, hair dressers and church and more. I love it here and would say to anyone who asked to visit here specially in the spring and summer time. Also the best time is fall ohhh my it is beautiful up here. Yes cool in the winter lol but hey we all have to deal with weather some where some how.

"5th Avenue Downtown"

5th Avenue downtown is the street and home of the Wells Fargo Arena as well as taking you directly to the downtown scenes. The vibe down there is fun and people crack me up sometimes lol. The area is fun and yes there is some living residential to now in the downtown Des Moines. There is a new central library in downtown now and it is great. 5th avenue will take you back up to Mercy Hospital if needed and to night life as well such as some nice local bars with great food and historical neighborhood's as well. If you like the hussle and fast pace i have to say for Des Moines it got it.

There is plenty of buses and cabs to find all over when you are down town so you do not have to worry to much on that. IT is also nice to just walk around down there since there is so much to see.

"Bus Line, Hospital, Food, Oh my!"

Hickman Road is the street you take when you get off the I 235 Freeway to take anywhere you need. This street goes along ways from one end to the other. Going south on Hickman road you will find grocery stores, retail, car dealerships, fast food, business and much more. There are homes off Hickman Road and parks as well. The street is so long that it takes a bit to go from one end of the street to other. You keep going south on Hickman you will run into a hospital Broadlawns and car washes and well just allot of homes and care homes for seniors.

This is a family area and some areas are rough but not bad. As you go south towards some areas of the street they are safe but neighborhoods get into areas that are with families but lower income families as well.

IT is a busy street i have to say and some bus lines gos down the street. Id say visit if you get up here to Des Moines it is fun to say lol.

"Homes, Parks, people are friendly"

Urbandale Avenue is a wonderful residential and family area. There is a wonderful park name of Riley Park on Urbandale avenue near my home where my kids and i go to with my husband there dad. It is a great place and people are so nice. There are allot of homes and bus line as well goes down this street. IT takes you to many places the buses do and takes you to malls, stores, back to the residential area of where you live. Area is nice and locals are great. There are large walk paths some parts of the area with bike trails and joggers area. People do walk on them to lol but sometimes you will see the bike rider and jogger and family walking.

There are convenient stores near and on the street as well. Few business but not allot. Just a nice neighborhood and some nice sit down restaurants and work places . Basically anything again you need it is here.

Schools not far which my daughter goes to one of them here. Near our house. If ever in Des Moines go to Merle Hay Mall which is Merle Hay Road on the same street. You will find restaurants fast food ones, sit down restaurants, car wash and stores. IT is a loud street busy lol but yet you will find allot of what you may need on this street in this area.

Traffic is heavy at times but not to bad most times. Very upbeat area id have to say since living near the street.

"Want the country scenery for awhile here you go!"

If you want nothing but country scenery for awhile visiting Lincoln this is the street to take. It is fresh air, blue skies when clear and just nice. You want some quiet good place to go. Taking a drive down this road you will see farms, fields and more fields lol. Getting out of the car will be a treat if you love the country. Smelling the air, seeing the clear blue skies nothing like back in the west coast ha ha.. Smog is what you want go that way lol. If you want fresh air, clean air and nothing but blue skies you got the right area. The street is quiet and not busy. Folks we met were nice out there and very kind. This road will also take you back to the city if needed to.

You can pretty much take any road out there it will take you back. But if you want to really visit Lincoln then this is the area to see. Just to see it say you saw whether you will hate it or not you can say you saw a farm lol.

Nice area and the street takes you to where ever you need to go even if you get lost the street will take you most will take you to a main road or freeway.

This area is half half id say if i remember right of homes, business, fast food restaurants. I also believe i saw a park. I went through this area again when moving back home to the Midwest. We stopped at a fast food place and sat for a bit. Enjoying really the scenery and people were pretty nice there. I would visit Lincoln again it is a pretty nice place to live and visit as i said. People are nice and streets are a bit confusing in some areas. Not bad though. Traffic there is so so id say from light to busy but not heavy traffic that i seen. I would recommend this area to anyone to live and visit allot of places to see and parks and malls not far from there.

"Interstate 80 driving it through the City is interesting."

I have been through Lincoln Nebraska about 5yrs ago when moving back to the Midwest from the southwest and west coast area. Living in those areas for 26 yrs was say interesting. Now back to the Interstate i would not recommend anyone living off or near it really. Allot of noise, cars, trucks carrying live cargo and average trucker with merchandise or food product, etc. I would say visit the city and the Interstate will take you about anywhere you want to go. Easy access to and from it .

All in all there are places to visit there for sure and the Interstate will get there faster then most the side roads main roads in the city.

"Huntington Beach Street"

Living on this street is unique and fun id have to say..I would recommend young couples to families to live in this area.It is friendly and takes you all the way to the coast to and back up to Anahiem area.I lived here when i had my first child and i loved it down there allot. It was very close to eating areas and schools, stores and anything you wanted it was pretty close by not to far.

"Busy Hawthorne Blvd"

This is a very busy street allot of buses run down this street as well as there are allot of business and malls as well.It takes you to Redondo Beach Blvd and near Galleria Mall. This street i would not recommend anyone to live on or really to close to as it busy and allot of activity on this blvd as well.

Good street to take to go dinning or shopping or most anything else but to leave near or on i would not recommend in my opinion.

"LIfe on Torrance Blvd in California"

Torrance Blvd is a busy street id have to say with allot of eating places near by as well as shopping and close to the beach. The area is beautiful and very friendly from what i remember.I would recommend really anyone to live near this blvd as it is close and convenient to shops, movie theaters and dinning and the beach..

It is noisy at times during the day but not to bad during the night if you live off the street. If you live on the street it self then it is not to bad mainly apartments living on the street area of Torrance Blvd in Torrance California.
