Union St, Flushing

A lot of car traffic in Queens generally means there is a lot of shops and that is the cause on Union Street. H-Mart is a heavily shopped Asian Market that is great for finding awesome snacks and interesting beverages. Don't take the car, you'll go crazy trying to park and will likely end up in a fight over a parking spot. Seen it happen a million times!

I hadn't been back to N.Y, in 16 years. This street was just fine for me. Not that busy with foot traffic. Forget about parking a car though. You leave and you'll loose your spot, really hard to find another. It's a good walk to the main shopping streets. But they offer everything. There was a geat small grocer on the corner. Oranges were cheaper than here in Fla. The houses right around the corner on 6th Ave. are very nicely kept. I felt very safe walking, even at night. Locals are very nice people. I saw quite a few singles, bars in the area.
