South Grady Way, Renton

Traffic on Interstate 405 is sketchy and often clogged due to construction, bad driving or rush hour. South Grady Way offers an alternative to the freeway, paralleling it to the north from Tukwila to Renton. The south side of the street has a lovely view of the freeway, but the north side has lush trees, a family play center, multiple car dealerships and some business parks. Traffic is about average until you get to Rainier Ave. in Renton where it becomes much more congested from drivers exiting the freeway. That's where all of the shops and restaurants are, though, and there are some really good dining establishments.
