Posey Tube, Marina Village

Posey Tube Loop is our connection to the outside world. Posey Tube Loop is a rather busy street that serves as a bridge and street which connects the island to Oakland. The Amtrak is located very close to Posey Tube Loop in Oakland which is convenient for travelers and family members that are visiting people in Alameda. The street is actually pretty neat. It offers awesome views and is even used as a recreational road. The street is closed often due to maintenance and roadwork. Since the street is over a body of water, repair is more necessary than for the average street. This is about the only area in Alameda where you can see public trolleys.
