"A place where the homeless hang"
Construction Way is certainly one of the more familiar roads in Alameda. Traffic is somewhat heavy because of the many different road changes that occur along the major stops on Construction Way. There aren’t really any areas of interest on Construction way. There are a lot of homeless people that walk along this street to get to Neptune Park which has been known to have a large crowd of homeless people at night. I would steer clear of that park. The heavy flow of traffic means long wait times at the stop lights, especially at the Atlantic Avenue crossway. The road is in great condition though. All the roads in this area for the most part have been reconstructed in the last five years or so.
