"Isn't a creepy for a residential road to lead to a cemetery?"

It is hard to explain a street like Oregon Avenue. This street leads right into cemetery. Now I have a very active imagination, so I picture zombies coming out of the graves in the middle of the night. Seriously though I ask myself why would anyone want to build houses on a street that leads right to a cemetery? All you do is drive down Oregon Avenue and pass a very normal neighborhood along the way and then all of a sudden you are at the gates of St.Johns Cemetery. I think that is creepy and creepiness and normal do not go together. I see kids riding their bikes around the gates like it is no big deal. I'm curious to find out if there any hauntings in the area.
