North Cheyenne Canyon Rd, Southwest Colorado Springs

N Cheyenne Canyon Road heads past the Starsmore Discovery Center and up onto a winding path into the mountains. The road is very twisty and will require your close attention, but there are plenty of places to stop off and have a picnic or start a hike. It will take you to Helen Hunt Falls, a smaller waterfall open to the public, with great hikes and scenery. It has a small ranger station and often you will find an Ice Cream Truck parked there for hot families in the summer.
