Lake Ave, Southwest Colorado Springs

The most confusing street (or set of streets) in town is Lake Avenue, which starts as Lake Circle by the Broadmoor Hotel, then becomes Lake Avenue, only to change to Circle Drive just a few miles later at I-25. From there Circle Dr. continues north to become Fillmore, which later changes again. The set of streets actually make a big loop around town, but manage to confuse visitors constantly!

One Lake Avenue is home to the Broadmoor Hotel, a Colorado Springs landmark. It is full of beautiful shops, unique gifts, and art galleries, all within walking distance of interesting pubs and restaurants. Be sure to have a big budget if you are shopping at the shops at the Broadmoor, because it will cost you a pretty penny.
