"Norman street embodies greenpoint."
Norman Street is a lovely place to walk to take in the true feel of Greenpoint, Brooklyn's home to Polish life and culture. Old ladies sweep their doorways and little shops boast homemade pirogies for sale in the windows. Sometimes people address me in Polish since I have light hair and eyes but they usually speak English as well if you don't understand. The best part? Norman Street is only one block from the G train!

"On Norman Street"
This is a fairly convenient street in Queens, with several small businesses. It was not the most eventful street and I wasn't really all that impressed. The nearest subway is very far away, so I think a car is needed. I think that you might consider other streets when considering moving to Queens.
