Morningside Heights, New York City - good neighborhood for families with kids?

It's a great neighborhood for families with kids. There are families all over the place in the area. The park is nearby and it's much sleepier than anywhere downtown. It's actually notorious for being the neighborhood that downtowners move once they have a kid. Stroller brigades everywhere!
