There are lots of new condos going up in Midtown and Buckhead and plenty of conversions in Downtown.  Atlanta is growing and the demand for housing (along with the cost) keeps rising.  Interestingly, Atlanta is also among the highest forclosure rates in the country. NYTimes article on the subject.
