"Up-and-Coming residential street in a historically rough neighborhood"
The once-tough East Palo Alto is on the rise! While this working-class neighborhood still appears a bit rough around the edges - parked cars line the edge of the streets and it is not unusual to see a police car on the adjacent Bay Rd., this is no longer the unsafe neighborhood that it used to be. It is purely residential, with new developments being built on the south side of the street. Children play outside and young professional homebuyers are beginning to purchase real estate on this up-and-coming street.
