How safe are the condos on East Bayshore Road in East Palo Alto, Ca?

Their information is based on the East Palo Alto Police Department. Just put in the address of the condos and they will give you a report of what has happened in the last month but you can adjust it to feature longer periods and specific types of crime.

If you are looking for a slightly safer area with still relatively affordable rents, I would try Menlo Park or Redwood City.

I don't exactly which condos, but looking at East Palo Alto in general, I found that since the beginning of this year (2012) there have been:

2 murders
more than four dozen assualts
and more than a hundred burgleries

There are also half a dozen sex offenders in the area.

Put simply, though you will definitely find cheaper rents in EPA, it is a lot like living in a big city--probably the most dangerour place on the Peninsula.
