Delaware St, Huntington Beach

As Delaware Street is pretty long, the area I am referring to is right next to Garfield. This is a great area to live in if you are renting in Huntington Beach. It is located close to the beach (it is probably a fifteen minute bike ride) and yet is still close to Beach Boulevard, eliminating the pain of accessing the freeway that living right on the beach has. The street is kind of noisy, with a car passing by every ten minutes or so in the evenings, but, it's not that bad (and could have more to do with the old windows in my boyfriend's apartment complex). What is great is that if you keep going up Delaware, there is a shopping center with a drug store and frozen yogurt place perfect for emergency supply runs or a late night treat!

It is mostly apartment complexes in this area. Surprisingly, though, it is very quiet! Parking is a breeze, except for on Sundays. There are three or four churches in this area and parking gets a bit difficult as a result.

There are plenty of parks nearby and the apartment complexes are very well run, so they are clean and leafy!
