"Quite a plain street with some green"
Clarendon Avenue runs in between Forest Knolls and Twin Peaks. It is on a hill and is great for biking exercise (in my opinion for those who like to challenge themselves). Clarendon Avenue starts at Laguna Honda Boulevard and eventually reaches Twin Peaks Boulevard. There is an elementary school on this street. On one side of this street are residential homes and on the other side is an immense amount of trees and shrubs; lots of green in other words. Not only that, but Clarendon Avenue is home to the Sutro Tower, something tourists could possibly be interested in. You can also get a nice view of the city when looking towards Twin Peaks.

"A physically short path that feels to be longer than it actually is"
Clarendon Street is a fairly short street that seems to feel long do to the slope. This street connects forest hill Muni metro station to Clarendon Elementary School. Across from the school is a fire station. The 36 bus line runs along this street as part of its route. With the exception of cars running up and down the hill, the street is fairly quiet until 3 to 4 in the afternoon when the children are released from school. Clarendon Street does not have any street lights until it meets with Laguna Honda Blvd. There are pedestrian crosswalks; however, there are no stop signs. Whether it is sitting on the bus or walking along the sidewalk, you would notice that there are not many houses, only trees and occasionally a sign that indicates “no camping.”

"Great street that connects two important areas!"
Clarendon Avenue begins right off Laguna Honda Boulevard which connects Portola Drive with 7th Avenue thus making a quick path from the Twin Peaks area to the Sunset district. Clarendon Avenue is a distinctive turn of off Laguna Honda because it’s located right next to the very small Laguna Honda Lake. Clarendon Avenue eventually empties onto Twin Peaks Boulevard and into a very nice district.
Clarendon hosts some nice housing in small communities. As you drive down Clarendon, you will notice the gated-community feel, although not all the homes here are communities. I have only been to a house in one of these communities once, but when I was there, I noticed that the houses were very well maintained and modern.
Lots of trees and greenery surround Clarendon Avenue and make it a very scenic street. Although there are no shops or stores, lots of shopping is within a short drive or long walk. Public transportation is also very ample around the area.
