Sinclair Community College (a Dayton-based college) in Mason, is located just about 30 minutes north of Downtown Cincinnati. Besides their on-campus learning options, Sinclair is also the largest regional provider of e-learning solutions, offering more than 180 courses online. Sinclair offers a variety of associate degree and certificate programs.
While not located in Cincinnati (or even Ohio), another community college option is Gateway Community & Technical College in Northern Kentucky. Gateway has three campuses in Edgewood, Boone County (Florence), and Park Hills/Covington (just the other side of the river from Cincinnati). While tuition for nearby Ohio residents (counties bordering Kentucky) is higher than if you are an in-state Kentucky student, it is still less than out-of-state tuition rates. Gateway is accredited to give associate degrees, as well as offering shorter certificate and diploma programs.

There are a number of community colleges located in the Cincinnati area however, many of them are for-profit schools, which tend to be quite expensive. The University of Cincinnati offers a number of two-year programs at its branch colleges in Blue Ash and Clermont. If you want to stay in the city and go to school, then I definitely recommend Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Cincinnati State offers more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs at an affordable price. In-state tuition is about half the cost of out-of-state; however, in-state tuition reciprocity is offered to students coming from the local Northern Kentucky counties. Cincinnati State is one of the best values in education around.
