Cincinnati Public Schools is the third largest school district in Ohio and one of the largest employers in Cincinnati with more than 4500 employees. In order to be a teacher in Ohio, you must be certified by the state. Requirements for teaching in Cincinnati Public Schools are to have, at a minimum, a bachelors degree in elementary or secondary education for an accredited college or university and to have state certification in secondary or elementary education appropriate to your specific subject.
