"Small street with a view"
Bemis Street is definitely a very peaceful and quiet street as there are rarely any cars that pass by on this street, if so; they are usually people who live on the street. At the cross sections of Bemis Street you can get a small narrow view of Glen Park and Noe Valley, but it is not as special or amazing as going to the heart of Glen Park to its highest point. Bemis Street looks very clean as well, the good amount of green trees make the street look nice as well as the well designed exterior of the houses.

"Nice Little Street with Some History"
I lived right around Bemis Street and my family has had a presence in the area for over 50 years. This street doesn't have a ton going for it. It's kinda boring and anything worthwhile is a pretty decent hike up and down hills. Bemis runs along the hill and is mostly flat in character. I assume this might be a nice place to own a house, as my family has owned a house there since my great-grandfather moved to SF in the forties. He has several photos of that time which show houses that are still there.
These houses have a bit of character to them and the parking isn't bad either. This leads me to conclude that, while boring for me, I wouldn't mind raising a family there. Be careful at night, though, as the area has had a spike in crime.
