Octavia Street runs from the Marina district's Jefferson Square, or Turk street, all the way down to Market Street where it turns into highway 101. Octavia Street is a great street to take to get onto the freeway; it has a new onramp that is very easy to get onto. Cars are constantly going down this street so it isn’t really ideal for living on. I would recommend it for college students who need to rent an apartment that go to USF. Octavia Street runs close by to a very lively part of Japan town which host a very exciting cherry blossom festival every year in the spring.
