Masonic Avenue is a large street that runs through Golden Gate Park. It has lots of small stores as well as big named stores. There is a large shopping complex located on Masonic and Geary. It has stores like Mervyn's, Best Buy, Subway, Taco Bell, and Office Max. Kitty corner to this shopping complex is a small diner called the Lucky Penny and next door to that is the very popular Trader Joe's. Because one of the most convenient locations of the popular store, Trader Joe's, it is usually really backed up due to overflow in the Trader Joe's parking lot. Masonic avenue runs along USF, you can see its large baseball field from the street. I personally wouldn’t want to live on this street. It is very busy and loud. There is a bus line that runs along it and it always has cars on it. And most of the people who live here are college students because there are mostly apartments and condos.
