19th avenue is a wide, 6 lane street. It is always busy. It runs from Golden Gate Park out to the intersection with Junipero Sera, from there it turns into Highway 1 going through Daly City. I would not ever want to live on this street. There are constantly cars zooming by your house and it is extremely hard to back out of your driveway or to feel safe about your kids running around. This street has had multiple cases of cars hitting pedestrians. It is usually one of the fastest ways to get places however if there is an accident or too many cars it is difficult to get off and moves very slowly. There is a bus line that runs up and down it called the 28. It runs pretty frequently but is usually completely packed. There is a shopping mall and San Francisco State located near the Daly City end of the street. I personally get a very dirty vibe from the street and usually try to avoid it whenever I can, even if it means driving a few more blocks.
