"Tourist attraction"

Even though the Lombard street is a long street, but you will remember the tourist attraction part of the street, beautiful, of course, with flowers along the curly road, famous in San Francisco. But I wouldn't want to live here. It's hard to park or drive your car out of the garage since tourist cars are often lined up the road. Definitely, it's not a place for family with kids. At the bottom of the hill, you can see tourists line up and take photos. It's always crowded. But it does bring a sense of pride if you owe a house on this area. I assume the houses here must cost a fortune.

"Great place to work"

Gateway Blvd is a commercial place with buildings and offices, mostly Biotech companies. The place has lined up trees, and many people walk or jog after lunch. But it's obviously not a place to live as in the residence area. It can be crowded with cars at commute hours. There is a shuttle to take you to different buildings along the road.

"Main road to downtown"

This is a main road going through the downtown with lots of restaurants, shops, and a nice little park in front of a government building. You can find some restaurants with great food and not so expensive. It's kind of a busy street with tourists and cars. But it's nice to hang out or go shopping. But it can be crowded and busy. I would like to shop and eat here but would not like to live here. I prefer a more quiet neighborhood.

"Top of the hill drive"

The highway is running on top of the hills. You can drive at a high speed (55 mph) and experience a beautiful view of the bay. You can see the ocean on the other side and a lake from another. There is the San Francisco Zoo nearby. It's romantic to drive with your date on this highway.

"Amazing view of the bay"

It's a very quiet and nice street, going in a step hill from which you have an amazing view of the bay, SFO, and the San Bruno Hills. The view is beautiful and romantic, especially at night. It's a nice walk with fresh air. It's kind of sloppy, so it may not be an easy walk for elderly people unless you drive.

"One busy street!"

I went to school here. It was always crowded and congested, long wait time. But it's expected though since it's one of the main roads leading to Golden Gate Park. You could experience students jaywalking across the road. I gave up driving to school after the first week. A few good things worth to mention are that it has a public transportation, and a big used bookstore and a big mall nearby the university.

"Street with a library"

The only good things I remember of this street is that it has a library where I visited often. Beside, there are some ok restaurants, not expensive and the food not so bad. But the neighborhood can be intimidating sometimes when you see group of men sitting and standing around chatting, with a smell of alcohols. I would not recommend if you have a family of small kids because obviously I wouldn't feel safe to let them play on the street. Most Chinese (or Asian in general) and Black seem living in this area.

"Nice view"

At the end of the court, you will have a beautiful view of the city. You can very much look down at the bay below. It has a plenty of parking. You can feel the fresh air, but it can be windy and cold sometimes. The neighborhood is quiet. There is a park nearby. I visit this place often because my friend is living here. We enjoy walking around this neighborhood.

"Nothing so great about this street"

I lived on this road in the past. It could be noisy at night sometimes when I heard drunken people walking at night. I would not recommend to walk during the night here. It was hard to find parking. If you parked on the driveway in front of your garage, it was very likely you would have a ticket or received complaints since it would block the walkway somewhat. The only good things I remember of living here is that it has a library in walking distance nearby, some small businesses/restaurants, and a walking distance to the public transportation. Majority of the people I saw living here are Asian and Black.
