West Greenfield Ave, West Allis

Greenfield Avenue is a busy street on the western side on Milwauke and runs through several of the western communitees in Milwaukee.

There is an excellent mall called Southridge on the southern end of the street if you're looking for shopping. There are resturants up and down the street regardless if you are looking for a burger or a steak, or mom and pop or a chain resturant. There are activities such as bowling, miniature golf, and parks for everyone.

The are many smaller strip malls with all kinds of specialized boutiques t meet anyone's shopping needs. Great place to go to look for something to do. Greenfield Ave has everything from dollar stores to department stores.

This is a great street to take from Waukesha, WI to I-894 without getting stuck in traffic on the other major roads. Paved well and wide enough to accommodate more traffic than it currently carries, this road also has a 45 mile an hour posted speed limit. It certainly beats most roads in the Milwaukee area that have a 25-35 MPH speed limit.
There happens to be a very large park on this road too. (Greenfield Park i think). I went to this park for my neighbor's daughter's birthday party and was absolutely amazed to see a park that big in the city. While I was there it felt as though I had left the city for the day. No traffic sounds, lots for trees, birds, kids playing. It was great.
