West Garfield St, Interbay

W. Garfield Ave. runs from the east side of Queen Anne to the west and ends on the other side of the Magnolia Bridge. The street isn't continuous, it's often broken up by intersecting streets, but you can zigzag your way to the top of the hill and down again along W. Garfield. The houses, in typical Queen Anne hill fashion, are incredible, including a few of the area's original mansions Queen Anne's famous for. The street is lined with trees and the gardens in front of some of these homes are amazing. A few years ago, Queen Anne stopped allowing public access parking without a pass so street parking is often available. The street is quiet and the nieghbors are friendly. Of course, the reason most people live on this hill is for the views and W. Garfield's got city, water and mountain views in abundance.
