"a great off the stip street"

theres 2 big named casinos on this street near the i15, the palm and the rio. past the 2 casinos theres alot of stip malls and such. if you head further down the road theses just a bunch of houses.
if you drive past arville st you've gone to far and wont see much. this is a good area to visit if your in a car or up to take a bus but i would not suggest heading to either the palm of the rio by foot, its to long of a walk in the desert heat.

"Not a Place to be with Kids"

This is the street that is action packed 24/7. There is Rio Casino which has action going on all round the year. If you plan to go with a little kid or an old couple, this is not a place to be at specially on weekends when there are more tourists and more noise.

"West Flamingo-hopping at all hours!"

In the heart of Las Vegas, this has it all. The traffic can be a little heavy at times, but I remind myself that I am in Las Vegas and somehow it doesn't seem so bad! The first time visiting, we had a bit of a hard time finding the Palms-we could see it in the distance, but couldn't quite figure out how to get there. We soon found out and I can't wait to go back!

"More Beautiful Resorts"

We came from the Strip and went west on Flamingo Rd on our way to check out other places nearby. We found the famous Palms & Gold Coast Resort. The constant hustle and bustle that the main Strip has. Lots of people and traffic. These two resorts were very pretty to see high up in the sky.
