"Busy, commercial street in safe area."
Watson Road in Crestwood is a busy commercial street. There are plenty of places to eat from fast food to sit-down restaurants.
Crestwood Plaza, no longer in it's heyday, can be found on Watson road, with two major department stores, a number of smaller stores, a very small food court and a very friendly Post Office. Across the street from the mall is a large grocery store where the historic Route 66 Park-In Theater used to sit.
Nearing the Webster Groves end of Watson Road, an extremely popular walking/bike path crosses it. This path used to be a railroad.
The street is very safe, crime is at a minimum and almost all needed services (except for places to stay overnight) can be found on it.
