"Close to the Cumberland River and Downtown."

The area of East Bank of Nashville is separated by the west bank and the east bank of the Cumberland River. The area of the east bank has been used primarily for just industrial uses and is mainly warehouses and businesses rather than homes. The homes that are in the area are the lower income homes rather than higher priced homes.

The area is home to the Tennessee Titans football field, LP Field which is also home to the country music festival that was once called Fan Fair. Now referred to as the CMA Music Festival, the festival is non stop country music for four days straight during the beginning to the middle of June each year.

Located nearby to LP Field is the Juvenile court which is responsible for either releasing juveniles back to their families or for keeping them in the states custody. The Shelby Street Bridge has been featured in a number of country music videos such as Big and Rich’s Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.

There are plans in the works for the city to start to build a new amusement park that will feature a number of rides and attractions for visitors of Nashville and the residents of Nashville. There is no set date as to when they are going to open the park as the construction has yet to be started. Once the construction begins, the area will be more popular than it is now and will draw a large crowd during the much warmer months from the beginning of May to the end of September as well as into October.

"Great Neighbors and Great Neighborhood!"

One of the oldest neighborhoods of Nashville is the East end district. For being one of the oldest neighborhoods, the area is well cared for and is well taken care of. If you are looking for a neighborhood to call home that is nice and quiet and that contains homes that are amongst the least expensive, you will want to look into the East end neighborhood area.

The homes in the area are also historic homes that are quite cheap when compared to other homes on the market in the Nashville area. Many of the homes are up kept and feature an historic feel to them.

It used to be that if you would once have looked for a home in this area that you would have to travel quite a distance in order to reach a decent restaurant as well as to participate in any shopping. Since then, the area has become quite popular for individuals who are starting a business. Many of the restaurants offer top of the line food and will have you coming back for more each week.

There is no need to head to far away from the area in order to reach a supermarket to do your weekly grocery shopping or when looking to stop for something for dinner. There is a Kroger in the area as well as Piggly Wiggly and many other smaller stores that are owned and operated by residents in Nashville.

The area still has some kinks that need to be worked out as far as any criminal activity but you are going to have that no matter what neighborhood you choose to live in. The area is a good area to raise a family and when looking to retire.

"A Small Piece of History For Nashville and Families"

Sulphur Dell or better known as the North Capital Area of Nashville is home to a number of residents of Nashville. Many of the residents of Nashville who grew up here and who have family members who grew up in Nashville will know that this area once held a actual sulphur spring.

Many of the residents also know that at one point in time during Nashville’s history, there was once a baseball stadium located in this area as well. The once standing stadium was then torn down in the year 1969 which would then be later turned into a open parking lot. Since the site has held history for residents of Nashville, the residents have suggested that a new baseball field be made but since Greer Stadium is across town, they do not support this idea.

There are numerous other neighborhoods in the area that draw a number of residents to the area of the North Capital area of Nashville. These areas are home to a number of different price homes ranging from the low to the high price range. Depending on what you are looking for in a home will depend on if you are going to like this area of town or not. Consider this area of town if you are new to Nashville or are looking to just start out on your own when looking to purchase a home.

The annual income for those living in the area are among the poverty level and the homes are not as up kept as other locations in Metro Nashville as well.

During times of the year, you can find more crime than other times with Summer being the unsafest time of year since most kids are out of school and gangs have nothing better to do.

Nearby to the Elizabeth Park region is the Nashville Farmers Market which is open year round and offers a place to purchase fresh produce as well as numerous other items such as shoes and socks and household supplies. Many of the shoppers enjoy the deep discounts offered at the farmers market. Inside the farmers market and buildings in the park are where you are going to find a number of quality restaurants. These restaurants were just rebuilt after the flood that took place that knocked out many of the businesses downtown in Nashville on May first and second.

Take a trip to the Bicentennial Mall and check out what all the fuss is about since it is not that far away from Elizabeth Park.

When you are looking for a place to eat and want to eat fast food, there are a number of fast food restaurants in the area. One place that you most definitely will not want to miss out on is the Fat Mo’s restaurant in Madison. They also offer chicken and fish for those of you who would prefer either of these items over a burger any day. You will want to find a park close by to sit down and enjoy your food at since they are not an eat in restaurant.

Grocery shopping can be made easy with your one stop shopping needs at your nearby Kroger as well as Piggly Wiggly. Either of these locations will offer you discounts when shopping and can be busy. Wal-Mart is not to far away up on Gallatin Road which is a newer Wal-Mart and has all your desired shopping needs. Nearby is the Lowes home improvement store as well as Home Depot and Kmart. All of your favorite stores are nearby to Ellington Pike.

One of the area restaurants that draws a number of residents of Nashville to is the La Hacienda Mexican restaurant. The Nashville Zoo is not to far from the Woodbine area. The Nashville Zoo houses a large number of animals as well as different varieties. The animals can be seen year round but with some animals, you will be more likely to see them in the hotter months during the Summer and early fall than you would be to see them during the colder months. The colder months are going to keep the number of animals limited to the number of animals who are able to tolerate the colder air.

The other stores in the area that you may want to visit are just some thrift stores that carry a large number of items as well as the Family Dollar and the Dollar General. Down the road from the Nashville Zoo is the Wal-Mart and Kmart. Further down the road is the bigger Wal-Mart as well as the Lowes Home improvement center. Buena Vista Heights is located off from Metro Center and Rosa Parks Blvd. The small incline to the Buena Vista Heights apartment complex is small and in order to access the apartments, you must first enter through the entrance of the complex which is up the small incline. There are just a small number of strip malls in which you can find a number of fast food restaurants which is mainly what is in this area of town. The types of fast food restaurants you have to choose from in this area are the regular fast food places such as McDonalds, Arby’s, Quizno’s and Burger King. You will come across a Long Johns Silver if you like to eat fish as well as a Kentucky Fried Chicken. "Room For Improvement."

The area of Buena Vista has numerous areas which are in need of updating. The area around Rosa Parks Blvd and the Clarksville Pike area are not bad areas that are in need of updating but rather just a little TLC. Located near the Rosa Parks Blvd you will come across the Bicentennial Mall which is home to the local Farmers Market. Here you will come across a number of vendors who sell everything from fresh fruits to sneakers and shoes.

Inside the buildings of the Farmers Market, you will come across a number of different restaurants which have been recently updated in the wake of the 2010 Nashville Flood. Also in this area, you will come across the Hope Gardens.

Metro Center is not to far away and is known for its businesses and restaurants. The Tennessee Titans practice in the Metro Center Area of Nashville where the big white dome is located not to far from the Metro Center intersection. This is more of a neighborhood that is in need of funding for updates and is more for businesses than actual residents. If improvements were made to this area, it would be a nice location for couples to be and singles but is not so much a good area for children to be raised.
