"Where it's at"

Anyone who is anyone in Miami is here. You can see movie stars and models on the beach or walking down Collins. There is plenty of shopping and eating and night life here. If that is not your thing, the beach is a block away! The street is a bit crowded and busy, but this is the happening place in Miami, the infamous South Beach! There are many hotels and condos to rent or buy if you want to live in the area. Just be prepared to spend a bit more money!

"Not a great place to be"

Unity Blvd. is a dangerous road. I witnessed a smash-and-grab of a truck right on the corner in front of me. There are feral dogs running down the street. It is not clear and can be noisy and congested. There are too many traffic lights, so you tend to sit in traffic too long, as well. However, Unity Blvd. does provide a straight shot from downtown Miami all the way up through North Broward. Only take this road if I-95 is completely backed up.

"Aventura Blvd is in the heart of upscale north Miami-Dade County"

Aventure Blvd. is near the mall, the ocean and the intercoastal. This is a great area for shopping and eating out. There are many medical facilities in the area including plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, cosmetic dentistry and chiropractic care. The Aventura Hospital is convenient and easy to get to. The people have a strong sense of community and there are a lot of community events available. The Aventura Mall is one of the best in south Florida. It can be crowded at times but you will be able to find anything you need.

"Avoid the Palmetto if you can"

This is the most dangerous highway I have ever traveled on. People actually stop their cars in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. There are always accidents on the Palmetto and it is always backed up for miles. Unfortunately, the Palmetto cuts through the heart of Miami-Dade County, connecting east to west and north to south. The Palmetto goes to the airport, but there are many alternative routes. I would suggest Ludlum Road or Douglas Road.

"Nice, quiet neighborhood near the highway"

Miami Lakes Drive is a quaint, winding street next to shopping, restaurants, golf courses and schools. This neighborhood is very clean and green. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. Don Shula's Golf Resort is in the area as well as a movie theater. This road has easy access to the Palmetto Highway and to the Florida Turnpike. Just south of Broward County, Miami Lakes Drive has more of a neighborhood feel than a big city feel.

"In the middle of town"

Miami Gardens Drive is in the middle of Miami-Dade County. It is close to highways, malls and businesses. It can be a bit noisy due to the popularity of the area. The people seem to be friendly enough and there is a sense of community. This street allows easy access to I-95 so you can head quickly down to the keys or north to Ft. Lauderdale. This area is not as expensive as other parts of Miami-Dade.

"Amici's is to die for"

I love this little Italian grocery and sandwich shop on S. Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables. The Globe is right down the street and has a great happy hour! This street has it all. Many large companies has locations on this street. There is plenty of shopping and it is right around the corner from the infamous Miracle Mile! It can be a little pricey, but you are in the middle of all the trends! I enjoy eating my lunch in the big circle, there are benches and a nice fountain. This is what Miami is all about.

"Uptown in Downtown"

Brickell Avenue has it all - work, play, food, shopping, tourists. 801 Brickell Avenue is always shown on CSI: Miami (the white building made of squares). You can walk from your home to your office and get breakfast, lunch and/or dinner on the way. Looking out from many buildings on Brickell, you can see the Port of Miami and Biscayne Bay. I've seen dolphins many times!
