"Brickell Ave. Miami"

Close to the water. Plenty of places to shop, eat out, and just plain have a good time. Loud area with not the best traffic at times. Buildings are close together in this growing "neighborhood". A nice place to live if you really want that city life in this metropolitan area.

"Uptown in Downtown"

Brickell Avenue has it all - work, play, food, shopping, tourists. 801 Brickell Avenue is always shown on CSI: Miami (the white building made of squares). You can walk from your home to your office and get breakfast, lunch and/or dinner on the way. Looking out from many buildings on Brickell, you can see the Port of Miami and Biscayne Bay. I've seen dolphins many times!

"A bit busy and undeveloped nice street overall though"

A bit busy of a street, its undeveloped though, in a few years will be better destination to go. Nice area surrounding, close to beach. Not a must go destination.

"Very clean and metropolitan"

Brickell Avenue runs parallel to South Miami Avenue. From 3rd st on south, it runs down the middle of the Miami Financial District. Large investment banks and corporate office buildings line Brickell Avenue, and the overall look is very clean and upscale. The Miami Financial District is easily accessible via the Metro Mover (and it's free!). Continuing south, Brickell Avenue gives way to luxury condominium housing and some upscale eateries and bars.

"Beautiful wide avenue away from the hustle and bustle"

This is a road that is south of downtown Miami which is lined with beautiful apartment buildings, which are beautifully landscaped. Behind the banks and commercial real estate, are beautiful high rise apartments overlooking the bay and Key Biscayne. Some are even award winning for their architecture. Brickell avenue is an area that was always exclusive and keeps getting better. Once the home of many large mansions which are now long gone and in it's place are large apartment buildings.

"The "Upper East Side" of MIami."

In order to meet the demand for upscale shopping, dining and residential space developers have been moving quickly to conver Brickell Ave. to an upscale living area. This street is in close proximity to where many of the movers and shakers of Miami work and play. Most of the development as occured in the 500-1500 blocks of Brickell Ave. Needless to say this is a lively and colorful street perfect for people watching.
