G St. is a well rounded street, perfect for new job holders or college-grad students looking for a small studio to live. There are a lot of convenient stores around the area, barbers, dry cleaning stores and a couple of deli's - one between 21st and 22nd Street that I highly recommend. Street is normally quiet and peaceful, don't need to worry about traffic noise or getting scared awake by noisy neighbors.

In addition, many fancy steak houses and night bars are just around the corner on M st. Combined with the historical scenery of Georgetown makes Wisconsin Avenue a place worth visiting.
