H St Northwest, Downtown

The most prominent factor; buildings. Tons of them all around. If you like apartments this is the place for you. Its got all the basics covered. Dense traffic is an issue but if you like apartments you probably don't mind that either. I being a big shopping fan would recommend this street to anyone who wants quick access to stores or if you are just in the mood to look around n socialize.

Interconnecting The post office as well as various embassies to the Lincoln memorial and the Potomac, River, H Street is a well traveled street where people go with families to visit and to have fun. It is easily accessible and students can be seen on this street. In addition, it is an easy and a two way route to go to the Washington Monuments.

H Street is a much traveled street with two lanes in each direction, and it can get a little congested at times. It cuts right through the heart of Chinatown. One of my favorite restaurants on this street is Tony Cheng's. It is a Mongolian BBQ buffet where they cook the food in front of you. H Street is lined with various eateries and shops and is located in a safe neighborhood as long as you stay in Northwest DC.
