"Shop Eat and Shop Some More"
27th Street is more commercial than residential. There are resturants up and down the street regardless if you are looking for. There are activities such as bowling, miniature golf, and parks for everyone. There are several car dealerships and is a relatively business environment. There are all of the general needs stores on 27th St. (Walmart, K-Mart, Target, etc.)
The are many smaller strip malls with all kinds of specialized boutiques to meet anyone's shopping needs. Great place to go if you're looking for something to do.

South 27th St
"Shopping and More"
South 27th Street in Milwaukee runs north and south and covers a span from downtown, and reaches into the suburbs beyond Oak Creek and Franklin. On the southernmost part of the street that is still within city boundaries, you will find a great number of commercial businesses that are surrounded by a few residences. The best part of South 27th Street is the convenient bargain shopping with the free parking you will not find downtown. Nearest the highway exit you will find discount department stores, and a seasonal costume store. There is also a number of restaurants including chain establishments, a kitschy pub, a Mexican place and a few Asian restaurants.
