What's a good place to hike or do outdoor sports on a nice day in Scarsdale?

Well, of course there is the wonderful Scarsdale Pool Complex as well Corell Park which has a small baseball field and half-court basketball area and Brite Avenue Park which has four har-tru Tennis Courts, 3 platform tennis courts and a wall to practice, The Bronx River Pathway is a very popular scenic trailway and its dog-friendly. It is part of the Bronx River Reservation which is actually a 807-acre park that was created when the parkway was created. The Westchester portion of the trail extends 13.2 miles from the NYC border all the way to Valhalla. On Sundays, from 10 AM to 2 PM during the warmer months, a section of the nearby Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the lovely tradition, "Westchester County Bicycle Sundays."
