What are the best neighborhoods in San Francisco for young professionals?

StBloomSF 2yrs+
Cow Hollow, Haight, Russian Hill and the area by Embarcadero if they can afford it and are single. If they are married with kids on the way, a little further out: Twin Peaks, the eastern Sunset District, Sea Cliff and Pacific Heights.

If they are not quite so well off, Noe Valley, Mission or maybe even Potrero Hill.

But really there are thousands of amazing little nooks in the city. It all depends what you are in to and what you are willing to deal with.
