Favorite Places?

What are your favorite places in the city? I constantly find myself torn between exploring the diverse outdoor activities in the Bay Area and reveling in the excitement of the city. Here are a few of my favorites...

Dolores Park (especially the slackline trees) and that really good ice cream place with the line that wraps around the corner...

Stern Grove in the summers

Crissy Field anytime, but especially on a sunny day

The Golden Gate Bridge

Union Square

The Mission, particularly the intersection around Valencia and 18th/19th...

Mission Cliffs Climbing Gym

But there are SO many other cool places...any other major favorites that I missed? I need more recommendations...

Now that I have kids, I love the Exploratorium. I used to be a fan of the De Young, but my kids are bit too rambuctous for that.

Columbus Ave. and the coffee shops and restaurants just at that spot in North Beach. I especially like The Stinky Rose--garlicky, as the name indicates but great. Just down the street, you have City Lights Books and Keroauc Alley. And there is a great jazz place--I could go on and on...
