"Revisitation of the Area"
Just a quick re-review. Since the last review, I've left the area. While living in this area was inexpensive, it's kind of a "get what you pay for" sort of deal. The neighbors suck.
However, it isn't terribly far from the interstate, downtown, or Mercer, so that's a good thing. I suppose everything else from the last review still holds true.

"Cheap Rent, Decent Living"
I am a student at Mercer University, one of Macon's three (largest) colleges. I live here with my roommates, also students. The street is probably not the safest place to live in town (but then again, it's not the worst). The area isn't too noisy, but I've had my car broken into once, and several of my neighbors had similar problems.
The noisiest people in the area are probably myself and my roommates, as we tend to have several loud parties throughout the year. Otherwise things are relatively quiet. There's not really anywhere to exercises except for the sidewalks running around the area, which are decent for running.
However, it's less than two miles from campus and the rent is dirt cheap.
