There are a lot of homes currently for sale in Outer Richmond (I found at least 50 on a quick check). The average home price in Richmond is generally lower than in the rest of SF largely because of the heavy fog cover that seems to never break and the homogeny of homes. Homes are generally nice and slightly larger than many in SF that have been turned into individual aparmtments.
From my survey it looks like prices go from about $500K to $1 Mil (the high I saw was $1.25 M near the beach. It is a great place for deals and a little quieter than the rest of SF. Good for those with families.
