Orleans St, Northshore

This is a nice friendly street to live on. There is always someone to talk to and they are more than willing to talk to neighbors. If you are visiting and are lost, people almost fight to be the one to tell you how to get to where you want to go. There are teens and children but they are all behaved and it is awesome becuase you can sometimes hear old school jams being played in car stereos and even portable radios. I love it, and it is a great place for kids and couples.

Orleans Street, on the west side of Normandy, is the first street in the Riviera East subdivision in Harris County, Texas, going north from Normandy. It is a short street, but it is a friendly street; and if we can just keep the boomboxes away, it is a quiet street. Behind our subdivision is a new elementary school. Kids that live on the streets around Orleans can walk to school.

Riviera East is patrolled by Harris County Deputies in shifts. The deputies are employed by the subdivision and the water district. Residents in and business owners in and around Riviera East reports suspicious activity directly to the Harris County Sheriff's Department and the deputy on duty responds.
