"The Trains will wake you up at night!"
Being woken up in the middle of the night to the tracks of a loud train is not what I call exciting. If you live on Westmoreland Avenue than that is what you better expect because a train track runs the whole length of the road and more. It isn't quite as bad as those apartments that they show in NYC where the whole foundation shakes but it is enough to get your attention. The road is very narrow and is an extremely tight squeeze for two lanes. The houses in this area are cheaper than most probably due to the annoying train tracks. However the houses for the most part are moderate without coming off as shady because they are cheap(er). The street is pretty close to the bar district which is right off El Camino so if a taxi needs to be rented to prevent drunk driving it will be sufficiently cheap.
