"Dry views of Puget Sound"

Normandy Terrace SW follows the shoreline and sports some spectacular views of Puget Sound, but seems like a very dry place to live. What it offers in oceanfront views, it lacks in greenery and nature, with the houses so close together, they leave no room for trees and foliage. All of the west side houses have "beach" access, which really doesn't say much since high tide makes the beach nonexistent and low tide provides maybe six feet of course sand and driftwood. The neighborhood is quiet and, due to the proximity to the ocean, the housing prices are on the high side, but it really takes a special kind of wealthy person to live on this street.
