Green Light for Midtown Project to Continue

According to Mayor Bloomberg, the Green Light for Midtown project that was in pilot mode, has become permanent.

According to a report issued recently, the project helped to increase taxi speeds by 7 percent while also enhancing safety, especially at two very accident-prone locations. This locations are Time Square and Herald Square.

I don't know about you people, I am glad safety has improved in the area of Times Square and Herald Square, particularly with all the people around there. But what I don't like is the increasing speed of taxis. I think they drive too fast now. Driving any faster can cause accidents.
