Today's snow...

Started out pretty enough. Just don't drive in all that wet and slick and yuck. It sure does change from place to place - wet in LI, snowy white elsewhere.

How's everyone doing with the first real snow of the season?

Hey hudson, I'm in SF at the moment and it's miserable. Have any pics of the snow? I would love to see some sympathetic bad weather :)

No pics - I was happy to get out and am now in cloudy Pensacola area - where it is chilly and windy, but going to warm up. Family will visit the beach on Christmas. Just was sleety, wet, and then freezy. Not enough to really be pretty, just a little snow - but enough to mess things up and delay travel - and be icy.

We had some pretty snow today. The kind of stuff that is powdery, light, and doesn't stick for long. Now that's my favorite type of snow!

Missed it being in Fl for the holidays. Lucky me. Did not envy you all out in the bitter cold on New Years Eve. I had thought about doing the Central Park run, but did some running on vacation in the Pensacola FLarea. Was pretty chilly and breezy there too.

That was one gorgeous snowfall. I remember - we walked out of Park Avenue Winter into...a real Park Avenue Winter! Although it got less gorgeous after we realized there we no cabs and the buses were only running sporadically...

If you guys are talking about the blizzard of 2009, that dumped about 10 inches of snow on NYC, yeah I watched it. I had to go to the store to get some supplies so was caught in it initially. It really fell hard at times during the late afternoon and evening. Waht a beautiful sight to see snow fall.
