Overheard in NYC?

Lost myself in that website just now...it's endlessly fascinating reading.

Sounds like a really cool website. I'll go there and check out what people are saying. You never know. You may read something that inspires an idea for a book deal.

Hah, can't we all! Anybody have their own personal Overheads? My favorite On the bus up Amesterdam Ave. cute kindergarten-aged child: Sarah's really nice! She's my friend. I like playing with her. overly protective mother: I don't know. I think Sarah is a little two-faced. cute child: no she isn't! we have playdates. mother: Haven't you ever noticed that Sarah is one way with you, and a different way with other people? Don't you think that's BAD? child: but... mother: I think Sarah has some issues she needs to work out. child: i guess.... methinks the mother had a beef with Sarah's mother a while back..

I don't usually share my thoughts or what I hear. But I do write them down as ideas for a novel or screenplay.

I heard one the other day in a bar: "My water broke right there in the bathroom at work."

@ajadedidealist I think that mother has some issues of her own she could be working out.
