NYC Children's Hospital Ranks Top in Nation

I read on NY1 today that the New York Presbyterian Hospital received high marks from U.S. News and World Report as the best in the nation. In fact, the hospital is the only hospital in the tri-state area that ranked the best nationwide in all 10 clinical specialties.

I mentioned that hosptial in one of my articles. Here's the link. It's a short paragraph, mosty the rankings of certain departments. Go to page 4 and scroll to number 6. Sorry, my paragraphs aren't headed in bold text. The article didn't want to come out that way. The article was about top ten hospitals of 2009. This hospital came in at #6 last year. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2543665/top_ten_hospitals_in_america_for_the.html?cat=5

New York has some great hospitals and specializing branches. God forbid something should happen to anyone I care about, I'd be glad they had access to NYC healthcare.

@ajdedidealist well they may be the best institutions in the world but they are extremely expensive and even for people who have some form of medical insurance.

@uptowngirl Yes! Whatever happened with all of those medical health care reform plans? Looks like I still don't have insurance, so having a great hospital around isn't going to help me much...

Well as for the health reform I wrote something on that not too long ago about how screwed up it is. It's about getting medical with pre-existing conditions. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2957348/what_is_the_cost_getting_medical_with.html?cat=5
