Oh, my. Don't you just love the black snow. It gives the city such elegance, right. :)

I don't even understand what is going on in the first article (I don't anyone understands what is going on in the second). So, people want to go after the guy who opened his car door for killing the biker that ran into the truck?

@JenMac: It's like a blog. Just read it, take what you want, and leave the rest.

@Uraniumfish you know people who are not from here i.e from overseas have this romantic notion about snow in the city, they all imagine it( my family included) to be pristine and beautiful always dash their hopes when i tell them about the black snow. Ha !

So I keep having these days of epiphany lately, when it's sunny out and I can't be in a black winter mood no matter how cold it is. I sat in the park today! On a bench! The sunshine felt so good I was delirious!

It's abnormally warm this week for February. It's supposed to be almost 60 by Thursday! I wish it would stay like this but I have a feeling it's not going to.

@hhusted uggh.. though I better accept the fact I have to deal with it at sometime because my home is NY and no longer in the tropics.

@upstown: June? Well, I think you're probably safe at that point as far as the cold goes . . . but you never know here, now do ya?

@JenMac Youre so right remember two years ago in 2009 when June in NYC was a complete wash out

@JenMac I will make sure that I have a trench coat with me and a few cardis if it is indeed rainy and miserable though I am wishing for blue skies and lots of sun.

Ugh...summer '09 was the worst! I'm not looking forward to the humidity, but I won't mind at all when spring finally hits.

So there's a tree outside my window that has been beautiful all day because the snow stuck to it and it is white all over.
