Health Insurance Help For Unemployed

If you have found yourself unemployed recently, or unemployed for a long time, and you do not have health insurance, there may be a way for you to get it.

There are two websites you can go to where you can learn of alternative ways of getting health insurance.

Here is one of them:

I think with the many that are unemployed in this city, a cost effective way to get health insurance should be a priority. Don't you think?

@hhusted thanks for posting that. I was just reading about the great health care debate and the immigrant New Yorker community. It seems 1 in 6 New Yorkers don't have insurance and much of the city's immigrant work force Asians, Latinos rely on natural cures for illnesses which are not FDA approved as you know. If the health care reform bill passes I think it requires everybody to have insurance and this way it is believed that it would cover and protect these uninsured workers.

Thanks for the information! I have found myself unemployed, but I do still need to get health insurance. I had no idea what I was going to do, but now I have a better idea. My friend had suggested I check out http://www.hcpnational.com/healthcare/medical-malpractice.php to get some medical malpratice insurance. If the website you suggested has better rates, then I'll certainly go there.
