Favorite NYC Book or film?

Anyone have a portrait of NYC in fiction that they find particularly touching? I've always liked "Catcher in the Rye" (RIP Salinger), the Eloise picture books by Kay, and the fiction of Dorothy Parker.

I also love Law and Order - I'm an NYC junkie!
