Donating Clothes Has Gotten Easier

If you have old clothes in your closet, don't throw them away. Give them away. I know you probably don't have any place nearby to take them.

Well now you do. Read this article:

Now if you have clothes to give away, you may just find one right around the corner from you.

@hhusted as the article mentions the UES is an easy place to donate clothes for it is peppered with many charity shops but I almost always donate all my clothes and other stuff to the Housing Works Thrift Shop on 77th Street between 2nd and third avenue.

Oh, Encore on the Upper East Side is the BEST! I have found such incredible things there - a BCBG black velvet halter dress, a Calvin Klein beige wrap skirt, etc., all for such incredible prices

@Ajadedidealist: I would never buy clothes from a thrift store. I had too many bad experiences when doing that.

I never throw clothes away! I always take them to Buffalo Exchange and trade them! I never have to buy clothes that way, and whatever they don't want, they donate for you.

@JenMac You're lucky that you have Buffalo Exchange in your neck of the woods where I live there is no such facility only consignment stores and charity shops.
